“Somewhere between a love for biology and a passion for art, I found a space that finally felt like me.”
Hey! I’m Eman — an animation undergrad with a curious heart, a slightly chaotic sketchbook, and an ever-growing love for medical visualization.
Like many others growing up in Pakistan, I was caught between two worlds:
Art and Science.
I loved them both — but it always felt like I had to choose one.
That is, until I randomly stumbled across a Medical Visualization Master’s program at the University of Glasgow while looking for study opportunities abroad (desi students, you know the drill 😅). It instantly lit a spark.
I realized this field combined everything I loved:
Biology
Storytelling
3D design
The power to educate and impact lives
Why This Blog?
I started this blog to document my journey into the world of MedVis — from learning anatomy with Blender to experimenting with 3D software, discovering online courses, and building my portfolio from scratch.
This isn’t a space of polished perfection.
It’s a space for learning, experimenting, failing forward — and hopefully, inspiring someone else who’s also trying to figure things out.
Whether you’re a fellow creative, a med student, or just a curious mind passing through — I hope you find something here that makes you think, smile, or say “hey, that’s kinda cool!”
